This parallel session will focus on applications of structural biophysics to investigate drug interactions and signaling responses through specific structural interactions. High resolution structural biology has provided unparalleled insight into the specific interactions underlying pharmacological targeting and intervention. These results allow for the accurate screening and design of drugs against experimentally determined binding interfaces as well as determining key coupling interactions for signaling. The aim of this session is to highlight structural biological methods as they apply to pharmaceutical and biological research underway in the Netherlands.
