Wobine Buijs-Glaudemans has been mayor of the municipality of Oss since 2011. Before that, she pursued a career as a board member at the province of North Brabant and as director of the Academy for Marketing and Business Management at Avans University of Applied Sciences. In 2018, she was named Best Local Administrator by Binnenlands Bestuur. From her background, she has experience in government, entrepreneurship and education and, as mayor, is at the center of society. The sustainability goals of the United Nations, or the "Global Goals," serve as a compass for true sustainable development and cooperation. 

In addition to her work as representative of the municipality of Oss, Wobine Buijs-Glaudemans is a member of the administrative management group regional police, vice-chairman of Safety Region Brabant North and of Agrifoodcapital. In addition, she is international delegation leader and member of the Europe and Internationalization Committee of the VNG. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Campus Development Organization of Brainport Industries Campus and since January 2024 chairman of the SER Brabant.
