Jasper Klapwijk | Health Lead | Invest International

Jasper Klapwijk is the Health Lead and, in his role, coordinates the activities in the healthcare sector within Invest International and represents the company externally.
He has been active in early-stage project development activities in the sector from February 2018 when he joined FMO, the Dutch development finance institution. Before that he spent most of his professional career at ING Bank and ING Real Estate.

About Invest International

Invest International invests in Dutch solutions for global challenges. We provide capital solutions for companies and investment funds whose international activities contribute to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As such, the main role is to financially support Dutch companies move or expand abroad. Solutions for which Invest International will consider support need to have reached at least TRL 7.

Invest International is a private company financed by public means and healthcare is one of the focus areas. The company opened its doors in October 2021, in The Hague. Shareholders are the Dutch Ministry of Finance (51%) and Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank, FMO (49%). Invest International has 150 employees.
